Job Description

Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and policy implementation.

Prepare accurate financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.

Conduct financial analysis, audits, and provide advice on taxation, compliance, and business operations.

Ensure compliance with regulations and accounting standards.

Maintain accounting systems, internal controls, and oversee cash flow and capital evaluations.

Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulators.

Prepare and file individual and business tax returns.

Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with NZ laws.

Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data.

Calculate bonuses, commissions, leave, and statutory entitlements.

Coordinate with HR on changes in employment terms.

Generate payroll reports and assist with wage forecasting.

Stay up to date with payroll legislation and year-end reporting.

Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the employer, including supporting ad hoc financial projects, reporting, or compliance work as required.

Location : Auckland

Job type : Full-time Permanent

Pay rate : 35.00 – 40.00 New Zealand dollars per hour

Days required : Monday to Friday

Hours per week : At least 40

Job Requirement

A relevant New Zealand a bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or an equivalent overseas qualification is required.
