​​ Job Description

• Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and policy implementation.
• Prepare accurate financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct financial analysis, audits, and provide advice on taxation, compliance, and business operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and accounting standards.
• Maintain accounting systems, internal controls, and oversee cash flow and capital evaluations.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulators.
• Prepare and file individual and business tax returns.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with NZ laws.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data.
• Calculate bonuses, commissions, leave, and statutory entitlements.
• Coordinate with HR on changes in employment terms.
• Generate payroll reports and assist with wage forecasting.
• Stay up to date with payroll legislation and year-end reporting.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the employer, including supporting ad hoc financial projects, reporting, or compliance work as required.
