My clients are forward-thinking accounting firms and are actively seeking accomplished BAS or Tax accountants to join their growing team!

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting : Prepare accurate and timely financial statements following relevant accounting standards.
  • Compliance : Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting principles, staying updated on changes in financial regulations.
  • Team Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance overall organizational efficiency.
  • Client Management : Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert financial advice and support remotely.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting : Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, offering valuable input to drive financial planning initiatives.

    • Requirements

  • Professional Qualifications : Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field in NZ. CA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
  • Experience : Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in public practice accounting in New Zealand
  • Technical Skills : Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with remote collaboration tools is a plus.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly in a remote setting.
  • Analytical Thinking : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
