OverviewOur client, BDO Northland is seeking a Senior Accountant (Business Advisory Services) to join their dynamic team in Whangarei.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with clients to plan for sustainable business growth, identifying key business issues and creating effective solutions.ResponsibilitiesReview work of BAS team membersWork closely with clients to identify their business issues and create plans for sustainable growth and report directly to BAS DirectorsPrepare financial statements and management accountsLiaise with clients and prepare detailed management reports or lettersIdentify key reporting indicators and interpretationsPrepare budgets, cash flows, and source and application of fund reportsUnderstand the entity\'s tax profile and strategy, identifying tax planning opportunitiesWhat You BringBachelors degree in Accounting and / or FinanceIdeally CA, CPA or ACCA qualifiedStrong knowledge of business management principles, accounting products, procedures, practices, and standardsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, MYOB, XEROGood experience reviewing workExperience mentoring and training staffExcellent organisational and time management skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills enabling you to build relationships with diverse range of peopleAnalytical thinking coupled with problem-solving abilitiesWhat Sets This Company ApartOur client is renowned for their commitment to providing top-notch business advisory services to businesses through Northland.
