Due to business growth, we are seeking an experienced and organised Office Manager to oversee our administrative operations and support the efficient delivery of our development projects.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the planning, implementation, and review of office systems and administrative procedures, setting operational priorities and performance standards aligned with company objectives.
  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure the smooth running of administrative, project, and support functions.
  • Manage and maintain accurate office and project documentation, including financial records, supplier contracts, and development-related correspondence.
  • Liaise with senior managers, contractors, suppliers, and other departments to coordinate business activities and resolve administrative or operational issues.
  • Allocate office resources effectively and supervise administrative staff to ensure productivity and workflow efficiency.
  • Oversee the maintenance of office facilities and equipment, and manage inventory and procurement of office supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations, company policies, and relevant legislation.
  • Coordinate HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, leave management, and performance reviews.
  • Support communication between office and on-site teams to facilitate timely project updates and documentation.
  • Minimum Qualification and Work Experience Requirements

  • A relevant NZQF Level 5 Diploma qualification OR
  • At least two years of relevant work experience
  • Other Skills Required

  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of workplace legislation, including OHS and employment relations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
