As a member of our Financial Crime Investigations Transaction Monitoring team, you will help protect ASB and its customers from the impact of Financial Crime.
You will contribute in a meaningful way to the protection of Aotearoa New Zealand from organised crime, modern slavery, extreme right-wing groups, and other activity which places New Zealand at risk.
In this Associate Financial Crime Analyst – Transaction Monitoring position, you will be primarily responsible for the assessment and investigation of transaction monitoring alerts in relation to AML parameters in compliance with the AML / CFT Act
Responsibilities
On a day-to-day basis, you will :
Analyse and interrogate data received from various internal and external sources to make sound decisions
Ensure a seamless banking experience whilst meeting our regulatory obligations
Be committed to delivering unbeatable customer outcomes and maintain confidentiality
Build credibility with your team by being pro-active and confident in your ability to manage daily activities.
Qualifications
You bring the following experience :
Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills.
Proven knowledge and / or experience in basic AML / CFT typologies.
Operational knowledge of Banks internal systems, policies, and products.
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and adapt to business needs as required.
