Associate FCI Analyst

As a member of our Financial Crime Investigations Transaction Monitoring team, you will help protect ASB and its customers from the impact of Financial Crime. You will contribute in a meaningful way to the protection of Aotearoa New Zealand from organised crime, modern slavery, extreme right-wing groups, and other activity which places New Zealand at risk.

In this Associate Financial Crime Analyst – Transaction Monitoring position, you will be primarily responsible for the assessment and investigation of transaction monitoring alerts in relation to AML parameters in compliance with the AML / CFT Act 2009.

Responsibilities

On a day-to-day basis, you will :

• Analyse and interrogate data received from various internal and external sources to make sound decisions
• Ensure a seamless banking experience whilst meeting our regulatory obligations
• Be committed to delivering unbeatable customer outcomes and maintain confidentiality
• Build credibility with your team by being pro‑active and confident in your ability to manage daily activities.
