Job Description

TE TŪRANGA I THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Business Analyst for 6 Months fixed term to play a critical role in enabling our strategic media initiatives. You will collaborate with Product Owners, internal stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful delivery of products and process improvements that align with business objectives. In this role, you will be part of a team who creates together

Key Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with internal Product Owners and the Media Capability team to understand business goals, product vision, and strategic priorities.
• Review vendor deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with business requirements.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring outcomes meet defined acceptance criteria.
• Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and elevate as required to the Product Owner.
• Support vendor onboarding by ensuring they have the appropriate documentation, access, and context to successfully deliver on requirements.
• Define user stories and acceptance criteria to clearly communicate needs and outcomes.
• Ensure all project impacts, risks, and issues are effectively managed, visible, and communicated within and outside the team.
• Identify and recommend improvements to business processes, workflows, and system efficiencies.
• Challenge ideas constructively to ensure alignment to product objectives and value delivery.
• Enable teams to meet business needs and drive continuous improvement across delivery practices.

Essential Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative approach. A sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment are essential.
