Research Associate Analyst | Macquarie Capital

Our Macquarie Securities division has been active in the global equities markets for more than 25 years, including 21 years in the New Zealand stock market. You will join our highly regarded Auckland-based New Zealand Equities Research team.

What role will you play?

You will join our team as an Associate Analyst, working alongside other Analysts to develop industry and listed company insights focusing on the New Zealand market. Your responsibilities include updating financial models, exploring alternative data sources for insights, and assisting with sales and internal requests.

What you offer

• A keen interest in companies and markets, and / or up to 2 years’ experience in corporate finance, financial markets, accounting, or related analyst roles. Please include your academic transcripts with your application.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with analysis and understanding of financial models
• Creative thinking, idea generation, and problem-solving abilities
