An amazing number, but we're always looking for new ways to continue making a difference, and new people to make a difference with.The opportunityThe Commercial Manager role is based in Auckland CBD and is responsible for the strategic and operational management of pharmaceutical products within a dynamic and growing pharmaceutical company.
The role will drive commercial success through market forecasting, product lifecycle management, execution of targeted marketing initiatives, and meaningful engagement with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
It also involves contributing to product funding strategies, pricing governance and cross functional collaboration to ensure product availability and regulatory compliance.ResponsibilitiesMonitor brand performance and ROI of marketing initiativesDevelop & maintain sales forecasts for generic products, incorporating market dynamics, competitor activity and historical dataManage in market product changes including pricing updatesWork with the Head of Commercial Operations NZ on the development of product funding submissions and other product commercialisation strategiesCoordinate product availability and continuity with supply chain and regulatory teamsProvide input into business planning and budget processesWorking collaboratively with local team and where necessary colleagues outside of NZDevelop and implement communication programs for healthcare professionals to support the use of complex genericsCreate & distribute educational materials such as usage guides, demonstration samples and instructional videosEnsure compliance with Medsafe and other regulatory requirementsQualifications & Essential Skills5+ years' experience in commercial, brand or product marketing in the pharmaceutical industry in New ZealandTertiary degree in science, business or a related disciplineStrong interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners and HCPs, ensuring alignment and impactAbility to design and deliver effective communication programs and educational materials tailored to HCPs, particularly for complex genericsStrong analytical skills with ability to use financial acumen to make informed business decisionsProficiency in Excel and forecasting tools together with competence in MS office suiteKnowledge of the NZ generic pharmaceutical marketBenefitsGenerous leave, health, and wellbeing benefitsCommitment to ongoing personal & professional growth via a blend of learning opportunitiesMake a Difference with Teva PharmaceuticalsPlease submit your CV and a Cover Letter.
