Responsibilities
The Commercial Sales Manager is responsible for leading a high-performing team of Account Managers to drive sustainable sales growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability across the JB Hi-Fi Business and Education segments.
This role blends strategic leadership, business development, and operational excellence to deliver on regional and national objectives.
The Commercial Sales Manager will foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity while identifying new business opportunities and nurturing long-term client relationships.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers to achieve individual and team sales targets.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer advocacy, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Deliver regional sales targets aligned with national growth strategies and programs.
Develop and execute regional business plans, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
Drive acquisition, retention, and growth strategies across the customer portfolio.
Act as an escalation point for complex customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the region.
Represent JB Business at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
Ensure Salesforce and other systems are accurately maintained for forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, Marketing, Telco, Commercial Services, etc.) to deliver integrated solutions.
Qualifications
8+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in IT or commercial services.
Client focused individual with experience working in a fast-paced sales environment, ideally with experience selling IT products and services.
Exceptional Sales skills with a proven track record of delivering strong sales results.
Experience in Microsoft Office required.
Experience with Salesforce is beneficial.
Strong leadership skills – the ability to engage, mentor and motivate.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Financial knowledge and business acumen.
Highly motivated with ability to work as part of a team.
Current Driver's License.
