Support the Financial Controller and wider finance function in identifying and implementing long-term strategic objectives that align with organisational goals.
Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and analysis by implementing robust controls within a new ERP system to enhance data integrity and efficiency.
Provide expert advice on complex accounting matters while supporting senior management with valuable insights for informed strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with the Financial Controller to identify and implement processes, policies, and systems that adhere to local legislation and best practice standards.
Deliver accurate preparation and timely delivery of financial reports for both internal stakeholders and board presentations, ensuring clarity and relevance of information shared.
Support external audit engagements by maintaining comprehensive documentation and facilitating effective communication between auditors and internal teams.
Champion compliance with relevant legislation by proactively managing legislative changes that impact finance operations across the business.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of financial reporting processes, helping the organisation achieve its strategic objectives while fostering growth within the wider industry.
What you bring
To excel as Commercial Finance Manager, you will bring deep technical expertise underpinned by recognised qualifications in accounting or auditing.
Your background in large-scale or multinational environments equips you with an appreciation for complexity as well as an ability to navigate change collaboratively.

CA qualification or equivalent with a solid foundation in financial accounting or auditing gained from professional services or large multinational environments.
Proven experience mentoring or leading teams within finance functions, demonstrating empathy, patience, and an ability to nurture talent remotely as well as locally.
Strong analytical skills with an acute understanding of data integrity; able to translate complex numbers into meaningful insights for senior management and subsidiary boards.
Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships internally across departments as well as externally with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
Experience supporting or leading process improvements within finance operations, particularly involving ERP systems and implementing best practice controls.
A collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills; comfortable working within cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
Sound knowledge of local legislation affecting finance operations along with proven ability to manage compliance requirements effectively.
Track record of delivering clear, concise financial reports tailored for different audiences including board members and executive leadership teams.
Ability to provide practical accounting advice on complex matters while supporting business partners through change initiatives.
