About the Role

This leadership role reports to the CFO and is central to the financial stability and performance of the business.

The Finance Manager leads a large team, ensuring the accuracy of reporting, compliance, and audit processes while also driving analysis, system improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring alignment with safety, competency, and company values

Own the month-end and year-end financial reporting processes, including all statutory statements and board reporting

Manage external audits, ensuring timely responses, accurate workpapers, and resolution of findings

Deliver insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making and continuous improvement

Ensure robust financial control through policy compliance, tax obligations, and financial systems support

So who are you and what is your profile?

You're a CA-qualified finance professional with experience in audit and commercial.

You bring proven leadership capability, able to manage and motivate large teams while fostering a collaborative and values-aligned environment.

You have strong knowledge of NZ taxation, exceptional financial modelling and Excel skills, and experience with month-end, audit, payroll, tax, and system improvement.

You've ideally operated in a services-based environment where responsiveness, compliance, and quality delivery are key.

A confident communicator with a proactive mindset, you thrive in complex, high-accountability environments and are committed to continuous learning, safety, and quality delivery.
