What You'll Do

As the Business Development Manager - NZ, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth through innovative sales strategies, market expansion, and client engagement.

This is a high-impact role that contributes directly to Americold's success, culture, and values.

Strategic Sales Leadership : Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with business objectives to attract new customers and grow existing relationships.

Sales Targeting & Performance : Set measurable sales goals, monitor performance, and apply data-driven insights to optimize outcomes.

Client Enablement : Enhance client satisfaction through tailored support, training, and long-term relationship building.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with marketing, operations, and product teams to deliver cohesive and effective sales campaigns.

Market Analysis & Reporting : Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and prepare detailed reports to inform strategic decisions.

What Experience And Education You Need

5-7 years experience in business development within 3PL, warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or FMCG sectors.

Proven success working with processors, wholesalers, brokers, and retailers.

Tertiary qualifications in a related field; MBA highly desirable.

Experience in international freight forwarding, import / export, and launching global sales initiatives.

Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills.
