About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and well-connected Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our presence across New Zealand, Australia, and Asian markets. This role is ideal for a candidate with established networks across countries and regions, proven leadership experience, and the ability to build long-term business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs, particularly in New Zealand, Australia, and Vietnam.
  • Leverage existing retail connections in locally and internationally to secure product display opportunities.
  • Arrange and lead business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Promote company products / services and address client requirements.
  • Maintain records of sales, revenue, and business development activities.
  • Build long-term partnerships with new and existing customers.
  • Support marketing and brand promotion activities in target markets.

Work a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week on a permanent contrac t.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong business networks across international markets, particularly in Asia and Australia , with established connections for product distribution and retail placement.
  • At least three years of management experience, with proven ability to develop and maintain business relationships across multiple regions and countries.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage networks to facilitate product orders and expand distribution channels.
  • Proven success in identifying and securing new retail opportunities in international markets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to strengthen partnerships both locally and overseas.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and international collaboration experience.
