Workplace Administrator - Waitakere
Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children is looking for a dedicated Workplace Administrator to join the Care & Protection team at our Waitakere Site.

Responsibilities
- Assist with financial plans, data collection and scheduling for Social Work kaimahi
- Liaise with vendors, casual staff and other stakeholders
- Support cultural groups and people from diverse backgrounds
- Book rooms, answer phones and assist at the reception desk
- Organise welcomes / whakatau for newcomers and whānau as required
- Manage critical scenarios calmly and professionally
Qualifications & Skills
Full clean New Zealand driver’s licenceStrong administrative skills including typing, reporting and responding to site needsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to audiencesProficient in Microsoft Office and confidence in IT systems for financial transactionsStrong time‑management and organisational skillsKnowledge of Tikanga Māori principles and cross‑cultural practicesCommitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and cultural awarenessBenefits
