We are seeking a Contract & Compliance Administrator

About Us

Hiru Cleaning Services is a trusted commercial and residential cleaning provider in New Zealand. We deliver high-quality cleaning services to offices, retail spaces, and private homes across the region. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented Contract & Compliance Administrator to oversee the management of client contracts and ensure our business operations remain compliant and efficient.

About the Role

The Contract & Compliance Administrator will support the Director in overseeing day-to-day administration, financial processes, and contract management. This 32 hour per week role ensures that client agreements are administered correctly, compliance standards are met, and operational efficiency is maintained across the company.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Preparing, reviewing, and managing client cleaning contracts, including renewals and variations.
  • Monitoring contract performance to ensure all obligations and service standards are met.
  • Preparing reports for management and clients on service delivery and compliance outcomes.
  • Assisting with payroll processing, invoicing, and account reconciliation.
  • Maintaining accurate financial and compliance records.
  • Supporting staff rostering, timesheet management, and record-keeping.
  • Assisting with audits, health and safety compliance, and quality assurance requirements.
  • Providing general office administration support to management.

Skills and Experience Required :

We are looking for someone who has :

  • At least a relevant business / administration or similar qualification OR 2+ years of proven experience in contract administration, compliance, or financial control.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and general computer applications, with proven experience in preparing reports and reconciliations.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract administration, financial control, compliance, and reconciliation
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, staff, and management.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines in high-pressure environments.
