Wild Wheat is looking for Admin Coordinator to join the team.
Beginning in 1999, Wild Wheat is now in to its 26th year of operation, and from humble beginnings has grown into a bustling business consisting of six retail stores, an impressive portfolio of more than 250 wholesale customers and boasts supplier partnerships with premium grocery outlet Farro and meal kit service My Food Bag.
Andrew Fearnside, founder and Head Baker, has built Wild Wheat with a health-based approach of 'good food that is good for you.'
Famous for our sourdough products, we continue to deliver the best sourdough and baked goods to Aucklanders daily.
Our product is at the forefront of what we do, and there is no better example of this than Andrew being on the bakery floor daily kneading, shaping, and baking.
We do things the traditional way with long ferments, hand-shaped and hearth baked.
Wild Wheat is now looking for an Admin Coordinator to join the team, and to become an integral part of what we provide our retail and wholesale customers daily.
The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience, and eye for detail, and be proficient in multi-tasking!
Responsibilities
Working with our Wholesale and Office Manager, you will be at the forefront of customer enquires and ensuring that the daily admin tasks needed to run a large successful business are maintained.
Customer Service – answering the phone, replying to emails and website queries from both wholesale and retail customers.
End of day reporting – Essentially the most important part of the job.
You will be in charge of actioning the end of day tasks for the night production team.
This includes inputting orders, printing and delivering recipes to the bakery and kitchen team, printing and delivering invoices to the packing team.
Retail store assistance – Further admin support for the retail stores.
Wholesale customer assistance – This could include key collection, visiting new customers, supplying samples, etc.
Further admin related tasks necessary to the business.
Key attributes / Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Problem solving and flexibility to adapt to different tasks.
Previous customer service experience (preferred).
Full training on all systems and the operation will be given.
Details
The role is based at the Wild Wheat factory, 58 Ascot Road, Mangere.
This is a full-time role, 40 hours, Monday - Friday.
While Wild Wheat has over 170 staff, the admin team is small and dedicated and are looking for a dedicated Admin Coordinator to bring their energy to the office.
