Improving Pacific health outcomes in Auckland is a key priority.
The HVAZ Coordinator will build relationships with Pacific community partners to promote positive health outcomes among church families and communities.
The role involves working with the HVAZ Parish Community Nurse to coordinate clinical delivery, supporting church leaders and health committees, and connecting with health and wellbeing organisations to implement relevant programs.
This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible impact on whanau across Tamaki Makaurau, Auckland.
We Would Love To Hear From You If You
Are passionate about improving Pacific population and whanau health in Tamaki Makaurau.
Have a broad understanding of Pacific cultures.
Have at least 3 years' experience in community health, preferably in primary healthcare.
Can build strong, genuine connections within the community quickly and effectively.
Are proficient in MS Office; CRM experience is a plus.
Are eager to understand and apply Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in our work.
Pre-requisites
No prior criminal convictions, excluding exemptions under the Criminal Records (Clean Slate) Act 2004.
Hold a full, clean NZ driver's license.
