Our vision is to create an A1-free world where dairy nourishes all people and our planet.The a2 Milk Company seeks to achieve this through the naturally occurring a2 Milk difference and by bringing a more sustainable approach to dairy.About the role : We're looking for a proactive and organised Project Coordinator or Junior Project Managerto join our dynamic Supply Chain team, based in Auckland.In this key role, you will support the successful delivery of quality improvement and product development projects, partnering closely with cross-functional teams across Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, Regulatory, and Supply Chain.Working alongside the Senior Project Manager – Quality & PD, you will play a crucial role in coordinating projects from brief through to execution, ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and successful outcomes aligned with business goals.
The role also includes regular onsite coaching to support quality performance and capability building across the network.This is a fixed-term role for 12monthsKey ResponsibilitiesSupport the planning and execution of quality improvement and compliance projects across manufacturing and supply chain functions.Coordinate product development projects, ensuring alignment with technical briefs, timelines, and quality objectives.Provide onsite coaching and monitoring to improve quality performance and reduce potential quality risks.Facilitate collaboration across teams including R&D, Regulatory, Quality, and Operations to deliver successful product launches.Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and reporting to ensure visibility and alignment.Promote best practices in project coordination and continuous improvement within the Supply Chain team.About you : You're an organised, motivated coordinator with a passion for quality, continuous improvement, and cross-functional teamwork.
You bring a structured approach to project delivery and thrive in environments that require technical understanding, stakeholder engagement, and attention to detail.Degree qualified in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, or a related science discipline.2–3 years' experience in Quality and / or Product Development within a manufacturing or FMCG environment—ideally in dairy or nutrition.Experience supporting or coordinating technical projects with multiple stakeholders.Strong understanding of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and product development processes.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and support cross-functional teams.Project Management certification or training is a plus.We are committed to improving our team members work life wellbeing with leading policies and practices on flexible work, parental leave, family care and family wellbeing.
