OverviewOur Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Programme is a key enabler of our long-term growth and operational excellence.
From procuring or upgrading manufacturing equipment to expanding facilities and implementing new technologies, CAPEX projects are critical to ensuring our infrastructure and machinery support the evolving needs of our pharmaceutical operations.We are now looking for a Project Coordinator to lead and support medium to high complexity CAPEX projects across our Auckland manufacturing sites.
These projects may include equipment procurement and qualification, utility upgrades, compliance-driven changes, and small-scale construction works.ResponsibilitiesYou'll be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, and close-out) while ensuring alignment with GMP standards, safety requirements, and business priorities.
You will also support other Project Managers and Programme Managers across the CAPEX portfolio.Leading multiple CAPEX projects from initiation to completionCoordinating internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely and compliant deliveryDeveloping and maintaining project documentation including schedules, budgets, and risk registersMonitoring progress, resolving issues, and escalating risks where necessarySupporting procurement and vendor engagement processesReporting on project status and contributing to CAPEX programme updatesQualificationsTertiary qualification in engineering, science, or a related fieldMinimum 1-3 years' experience in an industrial environmentStrong organisational and planning skills, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience coordinating or supporting CAPEX or technical projects in a highly regulated environment is preferred (e.g. pharma, biotech, FMCG, or nutraceuticals)Proficiency in project tracking tools is a plus (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet)Project coordination, project management or related training (e.g., CAPM, Lean Six Sigma) is advantageousThis is a hands-on role where your coordination and problem-solving skills will directly contribute to the success of our CAPEX programme and the continuous improvement of our operational capabilities.BenefitsAward-winning culture - Join a team that's genuinely a great place to work (and we've got the awards to prove it).
