Project Coordinator - Digital and AutomationWhy this role mattersOur Digital Programme is central to driving innovation, efficiency, and compliance across our pharmaceutical operations.
From implementing smart manufacturing technologies to upgrading digital systems and automating manual processes, these projects are key to modernising our infrastructure and enhancing operational performance.We are now looking for a Project Coordinator to lead and support digital and automation projects across our Auckland manufacturing sites.
These may include system integrations, industrial technology implementation, data infrastructure upgrades, process automation, and compliance initiatives.You'll be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to execution and close-out, while ensuring alignment with GMP standards, Digital security protocols, and business priorities.
You will also support other Project Managers and Programme Managers across the broader digital transformation portfolio.What you\'ll doLeading multiple digital and automation projects from initiation to completionCoordinating internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and compliant deliveryDeveloping and maintaining project documentation including schedules, budgets, and risk registersMonitoring progress, resolving issues, and escalating risks where necessarySupporting procurement, software validation, and vendor engagement processesReporting on project status and contributing to programme updatesWhat you\'ll bringTertiary qualification in engineering, information systems, computer science, automation or a related fieldMinimum 1-3 years\' experience in an industrial environmentStrong organisational and planning skills, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsFamiliarity with automation technologies, digital systems, and data infrastructureExperience coordinating or managing digital, automation, or IT-related projects in a highly regulated environment preferred (e.g. pharma, biotech, FMCG, or nutraceuticals)Proficiency in project tracking tools is a plus (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet)Project coordination, project management or related training (e.g. CAPM, Agile, Lean Six Sigma) is advantageousThis is a hands-on role where your coordination and problem-solving skills will directly contribute to the success of our digital transformation journey and the continuous improvement of our operational capabilities.Award-winning culture - Join a team that\'s genuinely a great place to work (and we\'ve got the awards to prove it).
