About the Role
We are seeking a Project Coordinator (Fixed Term to Dec 2026) to provide essential support to project managers and teams, ensuring projects are planned, tracked, and delivered efficiently.
Reporting to the Head of Programme Management and based in central Auckland, this role will suit someone who is organised, adaptable, and eager to contribute across multiple areas of the business.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include :
Assisting Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and tracking project activities.
Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, recording minutes, and following up on action items.
Maintaining project documentation, including plans, reports, risk logs, and registers.
Monitoring project progress and preparing regular status updates for stakeholders.
Supporting communication between internal teams, vendors, and clients.
Tracking budgets, resources, and timelines, escalating issues as needed.
Ensuring project governance processes and standards are followed.
Providing administrative and logistical support to the project team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have relevant tertiary qualifications and / or significant experience in project coordination or support.
You will also bring :
Previous experience in project support, coordination, or administration.
Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, PMBOK) desirable.
Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
5+ years of telco experience, ideally within PMO or service delivery domains.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to multi-task and work across different areas simultaneously.
Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage your own workload.
A collaborative approach, with flexibility to support team members when required.
