The Supporter Engagement and Fundraising Department is responsible for two core functions within The Salvation Army - public awareness and public engagement.
Public awareness focuses on clearly communicating the mission of The Salvation Army - who we are, our activities and contribution to society, and why we do the things we do.
The department is responsible for functions such as brand management, marketing and promotion, and mission resources & supplies.
Public engagement focuses on providing the opportunities for the general public to contribute to the work of The Salvation Army.
The department is responsible for the fundraising activities of the territory.
This is achieved through the employment of a broad portfolio of products, channels and events.
About the Role :
Corporate partnerships are fundamental to the continuing efforts of The Salvation Army in our communities.
We are honoured to have a significant number of partnerships with businesses throughout New Zealand, which range in size from large national corporates through to locally based businesses.
Each of these partnerships is valued and nurtured.
Reporting to the Corporate Partnerships Team Lead, the Relationship Manager will develop and manage partnerships with corporates,
What will your responsibilities be :
The effective ongoing development and management of a portfolio of national corporate partnerships
Engaging new partners from the research and proposal stage through to managing the ongoing elements of the partnership day-to-day
Coordination and oversight of the delivery of national corporate fundraising events, campaigns and appeals
Our ideal candidate will :
Have experience of previous corporate relationship management experience, preferably in a fundraising context
Have the ability to identify and develop potential new opportunities
Have a track record of success in, and commitment to, building and maintaining exceptional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Be a strong team player
Be a self-starter, highly self-motivated
Have the ability to plan, manage and prioritise workload and time effectively
Have IT skills, familiar with MSOffice, Outlook, Teams and the use of a CRM
Have a consultative and open style with a 'no surprises' approach
Have highly developed written and oral communication skills, including strong attention to detail
Have a full New Zealand drivers' license (a vehicle is provided)
Have a keen interest in supporting the mission and values of The Salvation Army

This role is
full time

37.5 per week.
The
starting salary for this role will fall between $85,000 and $90,000
