Contract : 4 months fixed-term, full-time

About the Role
The Registrar Medical Officer (RMO) Coordinator develops, implements and oversees RMO Rosters and related administration processes for an assigned portfolio area. In this role, you will have a focus of ensuring rosters and related administration is consistent, transparent, efficient and accurate. Such work covers the following functions :
RMO roster management including planning, recording, accessing and changing rosters
Assisting with coordination and delivery of RMO orientation
Assisting Operations Managers with the RMO leave requests and other absences
The unit works collaboratively with the relevant Wairarapa and Hutt Valley districts contacts and also participates in National RMO groups. This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday starting by 7 : 30am each day. The full salary range for this position is $75,201 - $83,092 pro-rated.

The RMO Unit if responsible for providing :
Support for all those involved in RMO management functions across the sub regional districts, ensuring consistency of management practices
Employment agreement compliance, and administration of employment issues relating to RMOs
A strategic overview of and input to the RMO workforce, Multi-Employer Collective Agreement (MECA) and management issues.
Open communication between clinical and operational management, NZ Resident Doctor - s Association (NZRDA), Specialty Trainees of NZ (STONZ) and RMOs.
About you
Knowledge, skills & experience :
Relevant work experience in the health industry or similar field
Competent computer skill and knowledge of administration systems
Understanding of complex employment contract agreements eg MECAs
Ability to recognise when assistance may be required to resolve issues
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
