We are looking for a highly organised professional to provide seamless executive support to the Deputy Director-General Cyber Security and to keep the Directorate running efficiently.
What you'll do :Executive supportManage the DDG's diary, travel arrangements and email inbox; anticipate conflicts, set priorities and keep the day on track.Prepare briefing packs, minutes and follow-up actions for senior leadership, SLT and inter-agency committees (NZSIS, GCSB, NZDF, etc.).Arrange meetings, VTCs and conference facilities; distribute agendas and supporting material.Business coordinationMaintain the Business Development & Delivery Lead's records and reports.Organise Directorate-wide workshops, inductions, conferences and other events.Run the NCSC Business Support inbox, visitor-access requests and logistics.Stakeholder & relationship managementBuild and maintain professional relationships with internal teams, intelligence partners and external agencies.Represent the DDG's office with discretion and a customer-focused attitude.Continuous improvementIdentify and implement better processes and tools that improve the way the executive team works.Who you are :4+years' experience providing executive assistance at senior level (public-sector or large-scale organisation)Demonstrated ability to prioritise competing demands and keep multiple calendars, travel plans and deadlines aligned.Exceptional organisational skills - you can break complex programmes into clear, manageable steps and track progress reliably.Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable interacting with senior officials, partners and vendors.High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, reporting and minute-Self-motivated, sound judgement and the confidence to make difficult decisions when required.Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.Ability to obtain and maintain a TSS security clearanceDirect impact - Support the team that safeguards the nation's cyber environment.Professional growth - Access training and pathways into cyber-security and government operations.Supportive culture - Collaborative, inclusive environment with flexible working hours.Alongside getting to work with our talented people, we also offer a range of comprehensive benefits which include :
