The Company

The Role

This newly created senior role reports to the Head of Finance in New Zealand and plays a crucial role in analysing financial data, providing valuable insights and supporting strategic decision-making.

Your key responsibilities will include :

Build financial models and forecasts to support strategic decisions

Monitor key metrics and identified performance trends

Deliver financial reports and dashboards to senior leaders and operational teams

Collaborate cross-functionally to create tailored reporting tools

Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategy

Assess financial risks and proposed mitigation plans

Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Support financial system upgrades and process improvements

About You

The successful candidate must have the following :

Relevant degree and ideally CA / CPA / CIMA qualified

5+ years FMCG or Manufacturing experience within New Zealand

Strong cost accounting, financial analysis and modelling experience

Ability to work at pace but still be accurate and have attention to detail

System savvy and can work with large data sets

Your professional hard-working attitude and experience in a commercial environment with a down-to-earth team will stand you in good stead for securing this role.
