Contract - Senior Technical Business Analyst

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with 12+ years of experience and expertise in core banking and credit card systems.

This role bridges business needs with technology solutions, working with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and support the delivery of system enhancements and integrations.

What you'll do

Establish and drive requirements gathering activities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and commercial to ensure successful project delivery

Translate requirements into high-quality user stories, including personas and acceptance criteria, to be tested both functionally and non-functionally

Pivotal for success in this team is your commitment to agile principles and practices, along with a passion for driving the customer experience and gathering requirements on technically-led projects.

You should be able to communicate with stakeholders to elicit requirements and identify opportunities to improve their business.

Your background

Strong understanding of core banking systems (e.g., deposits, payments)

Experience in payment systems and payment platforms (SWIFT, NPP, Mastercard, etc.)

Experience with credit card platforms (e.g., issuing, acquiring, transaction processing; FIS experience preferred)

Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and system integration concepts

Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience with regulatory compliance and financial services standards

Knowledge of API integrations, data migration, and digital banking initiatives
