Waiheke Primary School is seeking a passionate, experienced and relational educator to join our team as a learning support coordinator (LSC), commencing term 1,
This is a 0.6 FTTE position (three days per week).
The LSC plays a key role in strengthening inclusive practice across our school and ensuring that all akonga are present, participating and progressing in their learning.
Working closely with teachers, whanau, leadership and external agencies, the LSC coordinates supports, builds capability, and ensures timely, mana-enhancing responses to learning and wellbeing needs.
This role requires an educator with strong relational and communication skills, a deep understanding of inclusive education, and the ability to connect and influence across the school system.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, sound judgement, and a commitment to equity and partnership with whanau and the wider learning support network.
Applicants must be a fully registered teacher with a current practising certificate.
