Role
Massey High School is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic educator to job share the learning support coordinator role, commencing at the beginning of the 2026 school year.
This is part-time, fixed-term at present, while we seek to employ permanently.
Responsibilities
The learning support coordinator role involves managing support for students’ learning needs. This includes building relationships and working collaboratively with staff, parents and whānau, as well as working with other LSCs in nearby schools and connecting with wider agencies. Responsibility for data collection and ongoing monitoring of students in the learning support register are also essential aspects of this role.
Qualifications
The successful applicant MUST be a NZ experienced and registered teacher. They will have demonstrated successful experience in working with young people and supporting their learning needs in the classroom, and will have the ability to lead and assist with the development and delivery of learning support programmes across the school. Previous primary school experience may be advantageous.
Willingness
Willingness to participate in extra-curricular activity as part of the wider life of the school is also a key component.
