About the Role

Be the face of our workplace – where first impressions matter. We’re looking for two Front Desk Coordinators at our new Wellington All of Government office. In this key role, you’ll provide high-quality, customer-focused support that ensures a smooth and positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. You’ll be the go-to person for front desk operations, general administration, and access coordination—helping to keep our workplace running seamlessly.

Be our first point of contact for visitors, clients and staff. Salary : $55,624.00 - $65,829.00 + KiwiSaver + Wellness benefits. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Wellington.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Delivering professional and friendly reception services.
  • Greeting and assisting visitors, staff, and clients with warmth and efficiency.
  • Managing general administrative tasks to support daily operations.
  • Coordinating security access and visitor management systems.
  • Providing helpful information and support to internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams); experience with SharePoint or similar systems is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and professional demeanour.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
  • Flexibility to work in alternative buildings when required.
