This is a unique leadership opportunity - join DOC to drive seamless, impactful facilities and fleet management that supports Aotearoa's natural heritage - from bustling Conservation House in Wellington CBD to regional DOC hubs nationwide.
As Team Lead Facilities & Fleet Operations, you'll have a pivotal role leading the interface between national Property and Fleet roles and our operational teams.
Through your team of 11 spread across Aotearoa, you will steer daily operations ensuring DOC's properties and fleet run efficiently, safely, and sustainably.
You'll provide great customer service to a range of internal teams and collaborate with external partners to uphold national standards, deliver strategic projects, and champion continuous improvement.
Success in this role will mean you and your team are seen as high performing, innovative, and enabling frontline leaders to achieve DOC's vision and sustain Treaty partnerships through excellence in facilities and fleet management.

Some travel will be required to visit distributed team members across the country.

TAMU brings all of DOC's asset portfolios under one Directorate.
AMU delivers on Organisation Support's strategy to create a safe, compliant, and financially sustainable asset network that enables DOC Outcomes.

The salary range for this position is $92,912.00 - $117,570.00 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory - this includes holding a valid work visa that covers the whole period of employment.
