Senior Analyst

OverviewJoin to apply for the Senior Analyst role at Kainga Ora - Homes and Communities.Senior Analyst within the Financial Performance team, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer Group.

You will support the Housing Delivery and Design (HDD) Transformation Work Programme and the Housing Delivery Group (HDG), monitor performance of HDD Transformation initiatives, and lead HDG construction reporting.

You will provide pro-active financial risk guidance related to the construction programme.ResponsibilitiesMonitor performance of HDD Transformation initiatives and lead HDG construction reporting.Provide expert financial and commercial advice on the cost of construction.Facilitate the delivery of short- and long-term business outcomes through critical analysis, advice, and reporting that drives performance.Lead and coordinate the annual construction budgeting cycle and deliver accurate construction forecasts, variance analyses, and actionable insights.Lead provision of ad hoc construction analysis for key stakeholders.What you will bringA relevant qualification and at least five years of experience in a similar analytical or commercial role.Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills with ability to deliver data-driven insights.Strong commercial awareness and business acumen with understanding of cost drivers.Ability to clearly communicate complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.Proven ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines with high-quality results.Proactive mindset to identify opportunities and lead performance and operational improvements.Team player with a positive, high-performing team attitude.Benefits and termsPermanent role based in Auckland or Wellington, with a salary around $132,727 plus five weeks' annual leave and insurance benefits.Competitive salaries, flexible working arrangements, and a range of insurances.How to applyTo view the position description and apply, follow the online process via .
