Overview
Located in Auckland’s Waitakere region, Bear Park Henderson is an integral part of a multilingual, culturally rich, family-dominated community. With five dedicated classrooms for all ages and stages of our tamariki, we offer the community the chance to be part of something special. We empower tamariki to take ownership of their learning and their choices to develop as capable, confident learners.
We are licensed for 95 children and provide excellent ratios within a spacious and natural learning environment. Our cosy spaces encourage collaboration among children and staff within our secret garden areas and shared spaces. Supported by an experienced, close-knit leadership team, you will place children at the forefront of all you do, delivering a well-rounded and engaging curriculum while ensuring the centre’s success from a business perspective, including overseeing and managing compliance. You will have a passion for the Reggio Emilia philosophy and for supporting engaging provocations with our natural resources.
As a centre director, communication will be a core strength. Relationships drive all we do and ensure that not only our children, but also our teachers and whānau, feel part of our centre community. You will be an experienced leader with strong mentoring skills and a passion for cultivating a positive learning culture.
