Support the Parks & Open Spaces team at Rotorua Lakes Council in managing parks, reserves, and recreation assets, contributing to community wellbeing.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include :
- Assisting the Parks & Open Spaces team in managing Council’s network of parks and reserves.
- Supporting the maintenance and enhancement of assets to provide opportunities for play, active recreation, and sport.
- Contributing to the protection of cultural, ecological, and heritage values within parks and reserves.
- Assisting with recreation management in significant areas such as the Whakarewarewa Forest through partnerships with Iwi.
- Helping locals and visitors enjoy recreational opportunities in and around Rotorua.
- Working collaboratively as part of a team dedicated to delivering positive outcomes for the city and community.
