About the roleWe're looking for someone who enjoys working with property-related information and helping people find the answer they need.
In this role, you'll prepare and provide accurate property information held by Council.
This includes details from building and resource consents, GIS (geographical information systems), and natural hazard data.
You'll need to understand how natural hazards may affect properties and be comfortable working with technical documents and processes.
You'll respond to customer requests by phone and email, providing clear explanations and support.
This may include discussing the information you've provided and helping with enquiries about applications.
This is a permanent, part-time role working 16 hours per week, with flexibility to choose the days and hours that best suit you (Monday to Friday).
As workload demands, there may be opportunities to pick up extra hours, although this isn't guaranteed.
