The Property Group Limited (TPG) is a locally owned property and RMA planning consultancy, bringing Kiwis together to build Aotearoa New Zealand for over two decades. We are looking for an intermediate or senior consultant to join our friendly Wellington office.

About the job

Do you have a passion for property? Would you like to contribute to important projects that impact all New Zealanders, such as transport, roading, and education? Our property consultancy team are a talented group of people who apply their expertise, knowledge, and passion in the work they do for our clients every day. This is an exciting opportunity to join our property team and surround yourself with like-minded professionals in our growing Wellington office. Depending on your experience level, some of the work you will be involved with on a typical day includes :

• Supporting and working alongside Crown Agencies, Councils and / or private investment entities informing and delivering their property strategies and projects
• Negotiating property acquisitions for large scale infrastructure projects
• Provision of quality advice to our clients and delivering their property strategies and projects
• Work across multiple workstreams and projects including property acquisition and corporate real estate, due diligence, property and project related investigations and assessments
• Managing client contracts, developing and growing client relationships and programme management actions.

About you

If you have the skills, experience and attributes below, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for someone with at least two years of property experience, or a more established property career. Either way, you will have a solid understanding of the property industry in Aotearoa.

You will have a genuine interest in consultancy, and a background in a consultancy environment would be a plus but not a deal-breaker. You will be comfortable dealing with clients, committed to delivering a superior client experience, solving problems, and thinking creatively to find solutions. You will be a top-notch communicator, able to write and present your ideas clearly and confidently. Most importantly you will be focused on quality and always take pride in your work.
