As Regional Trainer you will : Facilitate, support and oversee all Support Worker training in accordance with Access Kaiawhina Competency training and qualifications in the region.Ensure that essential skills with our paid induction program and hands-on buddying are fit for our community support environment.Work alongside line managers, in particular Care Coordinator Team Leaders and Support Worker Team Leaders to ensure a competent workforceThe opportunity to contribute to the design and development of workplace training, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and other tasks, to meet operational needs of the Access workforce is a key component of the role.Teaching experience and qualifications in adult learning, nursing, allied health, or teachingExperience in Health sector is desirableHold a registered assessor qualification and be an approved Careerforce Assessor or, has the ability to obtain thisHold or be prepared to undertake further study towards the Certificate in Adult Teaching.Evidence of experience in standards based assessmentExcellent communication skills, oral and writtenCompetent with technology and Microsoft OfficeThe ability to respond to the learning needs of groups and individuals in a culturally appropriate mannerHighly collaborativeAble to work autonomously.We are asupportive nationwide team with a strong values-based cultureReputed as apassionate business that promotes diversity and inclusion, reflecting the communities we serveWe work hard to remove barriers to allow people to have a voice, choice and self-determination using the power of whanau and communities so they can achieve their goals and aspirationsAccess Community HealthlUruÀtea has a mission to create a better day, every day for thousands of people throughout Aotearoa to live independently in their own homes and communities.
