We are actively looking for an experienced Plant Engineer to join our company and add to our established and high performing Christchurch Engineering team.

A day in the life of Plant Engineer

• You will be responsible for managing the maintenance provision to maximise plant up time to specified standards, through effective breakdown support and preventative maintenance
• Manage a team of 18 to meet targets efficiently, while developing the team to ensure sufficient cover in all required skill sets
• Lead maintenance team to ensure plant is maintained to agreed standards and that planned maintenance is carried
• Manage working relations with key contracting services to ensure full provision of service, and effective use of resources
• Control costs, materials spending and inventory management to budgetary limits
