Based out at our Wairakei Road Depot, we require an enthusiastic Structures & Landscapes Technician join our team as part of The Project Office Group.

This role provides high-quality, project construction delivery to our key customers across Canterbury and beyond. The work our Structures & Landscapes team undertake is pivotal to building infrastructure projects for our communities.

This role consists of mostly civil structures and landscapes work.

  • Minimum of 5 years working in a civil construction, hard landscaping environment
  • Experience with civil works and civil structures including,

Siteworks preparation for surfacing

  • Reinforcing steel tying
  • Concrete placing or paving
  • Hard / soft landscaping
  • Timber structures
  • Machinery operation (Digger operation experience essential)
  • Must hold a valid Class 1 & 2 driver\'s licence (WTR preferred)
  • Ability to work to and meet deadlines.
  • Have a strong emphasis on health and safety.
  • Ability to work together within a crew and the wider team.
  • Physically fit and motivated to make a difference.
  • Working full-time 40 hours between Monday – Friday with no day the same.
  • Comprehensive training and ongoing support and mentoring to aid personal development.
  • Being part of a team-oriented culture committed to delivering high standards of workmanship.
  • Provided with a high-quality uniform, including full PPE requirements.
