You won’t be pigeon-holed in this role, and you won’t be stuck behind a desk. You will take ownership of projects from concept to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will work alongside a highly qualified, talented, dynamic and passionate team, ensuring all project objectives are met. This role is full-time, permanent and requires frequent travel to sites, sometimes over consecutive weeks once fully onboarded.
The successful applicant will :
- Build strong and open relationships internally and with clients, sub contractors & suppliers, ensuring future relationships.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Manage budgets, forecasts and project programmes.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues.
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
- Understand design and convert PIDs, accurately estimate work and produce schedules and pricing.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders, including senior management, clients and project team members.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
- Ensure processes and procedures are always implemented onsite and ensure that all subcontractors and employees work within the confines of the H&S andEnvironmental policies.
- Ensure that all project documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Participate in project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement.
About you :
Minimum of 3 years experience in water and wastewater processesMinimum of 7 years as a Project Engineer or equivalentBe well versed in civil and mechanical construction and familiar with all site activitiesUnderstand the A-Z of project deliveryBachelor's degree in engineering or a related fieldExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as a part of a teamExperience with project management software toolsThe ability to travel and work effectively on sites away from the officePassionate about delivering top notch services to clients while having fun along the wayWhat we offer :
