Key Project Engineer Responsibilities – Civil, Construction, and Infrastructure Projects

Plan, coordinate, and manage project activities to achieve successful and timely project delivery.

Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and variances, and implement corrective actions as required.

Collaborate with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure clear communication and effective teamwork.

Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.

Support and promote health, safety, and environmental best practices, reflecting the company's core values.

What You Bring – Project Engineer Skills and Experience

Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.

3 - 5yrs Experience working on civil infrastructure projects (New Zealand experience is advantageous but not essential).

Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.

Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach towards continuous improvement.

Legal right to work in New Zealand.

A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
