Calling all experienced, dedicated, and dynamic Social Workers!
We are looking for an experienced registered Social Worker to join our team here at Wellington Rape Crisis – providing essential crisis and long-term recovery services to survivors of sexualised violence.
Our social workers provide the critical front door to our services and provide a range of interventions in service to survivors.
You will be bringing your honed assessment and case planning skills, a well-rounded understanding of strength based social work frameworks and models, a demonstrated ability to work across a range of identities, and a demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti.
A robust analysis of sexualised violence would be advantageous.
You will have great organisational skills, competencies in database and system platforms such as SharePoint and Outlook and the ability to learn new systems when required.
Your creativity, proactiveness and critical analysis will be welcomed into Wellington Rape Crisis.
There is the ability to stretch your skills into group facilitation and social change projects.

Responsibilities
Serve as the front door to services and provide essential interventions for survivors of sexualised violence.
Carry out assessments and develop case plans using strength-based social work frameworks.
Apply a strong understanding of cultural safety with a demonstrated ability to work across a range of identities and uphold a commitment to Te Tiriti.
Utilise knowledge of sexualised violence analyses; contribute to service delivery planning and evaluation.
Maintain organisational proficiency with database and system platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Outlook) and learn new systems as required.
Bring creativity, proactiveness, and critical analysis to the team; participate in group facilitation and social change projects when appropriate.
Qualifications
Current registered Social Worker.
Strong organisational skills and capability with database and system platforms; ability to learn new systems.
Demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti and culturally safe practice; willingness to work across diverse identities.
Robust analysis of sexualised violence would be advantageous.
