About the Role

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our team based in Takanini. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday 08 : 00AM - 04 : 30PM. This is a long-term, permanent role for the right person. You will report to the National Warehouse Manager who is also based in Auckland. Duties will include :

Operating a Forklift Truck as well as a Reach Truck

Picking and packing orders

Devanning containers

Putting stock away in the small warehouse

Loading and wrapping pallets

Completing local customer deliveries using the company van

Receiving orders and preparing documentation using a computer

Operating other machinery on-site a few hours a week including a guillotine and slitter machine

Regularly lifting 20kgs of product

Loading and unloading trucks

Skills and Experience

You must have a valid Forklift license

You will ideally have Reach Truck experience and a license

At least 1 year experience operating a forklift truck

You must be computer literate as you will be preparing documentation

Good communication and be able to work alone and in a small team

Thorough with good attention to detail

Able to regularly lift 20kgs

Self-motivated and proactive

Interested in learning new things

Physically able (as there will be some lifting required)

Keen attitude to learn and get involved

Able to pass a pre-employment drug test

We have sites based in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. We have excellent processes in place meaning you will receive competent training.
