As an Assistant Team Leader you will support the day-to-day operation and productivity for our Dispatch team (12 : 30-9 : 00pm shift, based in Highbrook).

Help to guide and supervise the team by providing feedback and coaching support, delegating tasks, and using your initiative to help problem solve, escalating issues appropriately as they may arise.

Bring your health and safety focus and strong operational knowledge to lead by example.

Partner with the team and provide support to ensure a smooth dispatch operation.

Help our team help our customers to get their orders with a timely and efficient process!

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Team Leader by :

Delegating workloads and tasks to the team to drive productivity,

Completing quality targets checks,

Identifying process improvement opportunities,

Problem solving and being adaptable,

Running and updating reports and schedules, and

Making sure that the team meets business expectations to support our customers!

Attributes and behaviours we look for in this role :

You will be someone who can influence and get people onside,

Communicate a clear message (both in verbal and in written form),

A natural leader - by doing the mahi and leading by example,

Enjoy adapting to problem solve - managing exceptions and escalations as they come up through the day,

Can confidently use computers and run reports, and

Has a strong understanding of Health Safety and Wellbeing processes.

This is a busy role and will keep you on your toes!
