Postie Team Leader (North AKL)

POSTIE TEAM LEADER | FULL-TIME | NORTHSHORE, AUCKLAND

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Postie Team Leader in Northshore, Auckland. A great advancement if you’re looking to increase your skillset and make a difference to support and build a successful delivery network. You must have a clean class 6 motorcycle license - Learners, Restricted or Full.

Here's what you'll do…

As Postie Team Leader, you will be required to provide overall staff supervision and support for the day-to-day delivery performance, review and allocate run / mail and staff changes were needed to ensure mail delivery standards are maintained.

The key accountabilities of the role will include but are not limited to the following :

• Ensure safety is the top priority in the workplace.
• Monitor and mentor your team, providing leadership and direction focusing on achieving 'premier' service for all external and internal customers.
• Map and manage the mapping for existing runs to ensure they are efficient and safe.
• Ensure compliance with the company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a focus on continuous improvement with regards to service delivery and cost-efficiency.

You will need to be a strong team player and be able to work under pressure. Can demonstrate a client-focused attitude, being a true ambassador for our brand. You will also need strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Furthermore, you are a self-motivated achiever who uses initiative and innovative ideas to grow and improve the business.
