As the Chosen Team Leader, you will oversee the planning and delivery of Chosen events across New Zealand.

You will lead and support a team of Chosen Experience Coordinators, ensuring high-quality transformative supporter experiences and best practice church event planning.

This role is also responsible for planning all international donor trips in the Fundraising Partnerships team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead planning and delivery of Chosen launch and reveal events in churches.

Oversee all event logistics including venue planning, displays, technology, run sheets, staff, and speaker coordination.

Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight for Chosen Experience Coordinators.

Build and maintain strong relationships with churches, pastors, and stakeholders.

Plan and coordinate international donor trips for church and major donors.

Gather feedback to continually improve events, systems, and supporter experiences.

Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols for all events.

About you

Demonstrated experience in event planning, coordination, or logistics (preferably in church contexts).

Strong knowledge of church culture, structures, and processes.

Experience managing a geographically diverse team across New Zealand.

Excellent relationship management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

High attention to detail with strong time management and problem-solving ability.

Competence with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and event planning tools.

Flexible, proactive, and able to work Sundays and travel domestically as required.

Location and Hours

Based in Penrose, Auckland

Full-Time, Permanant position.

30 hrs per week.
