Process Team Leader – Scenic Southern UtahJob DescriptionThe process team leader position is responsible for supervising plant employees in a mining processing and production environment.
This position plans and assigns work and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.Essential FunctionsEnsure effective employee relations.Provide process employee coaching and development.Resolve process employee issues through problem resolution, with the assistance of the process manager and HR manager as required.Balance Safety, Productivity, Quality, Cost, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.Work to continuously improve in all areas.Manage crew performance measures, including visual controls, and provide regular progress reports to the process manager.Operate all process plant functions with crew members, coordinating duties and tasks.Maintain proper inventory levels.Manage crew priorities.Track absenteeism and timekeeping.CompetenciesLeadershipPerformance ManagementProblem Solving / AnalysisResults DrivenCommunication ProficiencyTime ManagementTechnical CapacityLearningSupervisory Responsibility : This position supervises all process operators in their day-to-day tasks.Position Type / Expected Hours of Work : This is a full-time position.
Hours may vary, typically 7 on, 7 off, Thursday through Wednesday, from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM.
Overtime may be required as needed.Required Education and Experience : High school diploma or GED.
