About the role
As our Compliance Team Leader, you'll ensure our organisation meets allinternal and external compliance obligations.
This is a hands-on leadershiprole where your expertise will oversee our animal control, building control,and monitoring officers.
You'll develop and implement robust complianceprocedures and work closely with stakeholders to drive alignment withlegislation and bylaws.
You'll also have a unique opportunity to build connections beyond theorganisation - working with the wider community to raise awareness, provideeducation, support people in understanding their obligations, and strengthenpublic confidence in local compliance practices.
Key responsibilities :
Lead the compliance team and champion bestpractice approaches
Monitor regulatory changes and ensure practicesare up to date
Conduct risk assessments and manage reportingprocesses
Collect evidence and manage investigations
Support community education and outreach aroundcompliance matters
About you
You're a proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail.
With yourbackground in compliance, law, or a related field, you're ready to inspire andguide others while staying cool under pressure.
Your strategic mindset,collaborative nature, and ability to translate complex regulations intoeveryday practice make you a natural fit for this role.
Ideal qualifications and skills :
Proven experience in compliance, riskmanagement, or similar
Strong leadership and stakeholder managementskills
Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation andstandards
Ability to influence and drive change across anorganisation
Commitment to transparency, ethics, andcontinuous improvement
