Overview
Operations Technology Enablement Manager is a strategic technology leader inside Operations, co-owning the future-state roadmap with Business Technology. The role drives systems convergence, data-led decision-making, and adoption of future-focused digital enablers. It also serves as a key advisor and escalation point for technology risks, system changes, and capability uplift across operational systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and co-ownership of the operations digital technology roadmap in partnership with Business Technology.
- Act as senior technology partner to ORAT, Terminal, Airfield, Baggage, and Operations teams in shaping the selection and embedding of digital systems.
- Identify and champion opportunities for future-facing technology investment (AI, automation, predictive analytics).
- Support the design and operationalisation of integrated performance dashboards, real-time insights, and decision support tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to co-design and influence change management strategies, ensuring successful adoption of operational technologies.
- Act as the operational product owner across key workstreams such as check-in, customer experience, and digital systems, while managing the check-in kiosk product and related vendor contracts.
- Plan and prioritise technology investments, ensure operational requirements like capacity and resilience are met, and provide expert support during crisis situations involving digital tools.
- Manage vendor performance to ensure accountability, delivery to service levels, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Technology, Operations Management or Business, AviationDemonstrated knowledge of digital systems used in operational environments through formal training or equivalent experience.Familiarity with IT governance or service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL Foundation or equivalent exposure).Strong understanding of IT processes, infrastructure and network components.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to have a wide overarching view of multiple data flows, inputs, integrations and outputs.Minimum 15 years' experience in operational technology, systems management, product management and digital programme delivery in a complex, multi-stakeholder environmentPrior experience of operating within an airline and / or ground handler environment.Proven ability to lead digital system lifecycle from roadmap development through to operational implementation and optimisationStrong understanding of digital systems relevant to airport operations (e.g. check-in, baggage, security, mobility, biometrics)Experience working across business and technology functions to co-develop solutions, resolve delivery issues, and ensure operational fit.Strong vendor management experience including contract oversight, performance management, and service-level adherence.Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver in high-pressure operational contexts.Budgeting and planning skills.Excellent relationship-building skills at all levels of the organisation.About us
